What is RUWA® Braid?

RUWA® is the intersection of Science, Function, and Innovation. A special Aquatex® coating makes RUWA® hydrophobic a.k.a. water-resistant. This means quicker drying times and less stress on natural strands. The Kanekalon fiber is soft to the touch and super lightweight. The pre-stretched ends cut down the time spent preparing the hair for styling. There is no alkaline coating on RUWA® braiding hair which means there is no need to remove it with apple cider vinegar.

The art and practice of hair braiding has been around since ancient times, however, there have been many advancements in braiding technique and pattern design, but there has never been an advancement in the hair fiber like RUWA®. Like all of our X-Pression® Braiding hair RUWA® can be set using hot water to finish styling.
